Our Ales

Here at the Greyhound Inn we pride ourselves on the quality of our ales, just as much as the quality of our food.  And after recently being voted overall winners of the ‘East & West Midlands Best Kept Cellar Award’ through the Publicans Morning Advertiser, you can see how serious we take it.

Here at the Greyhound Inn we always have available locally produced ales from award winning Everards Brewery, with their ales brewed less than 10 miles from us www.everards.co.uk

We also offer a further 3 regularly changing cask ales, changing weekly, where we enjoy chatting with our customers with the current comprehensive monthly range of guest ales available to bring in a selection of guests ales our customers have chosen themselves.

Our range of ales are soon to go through the roof!  With our Ale & Pie Festival due to take place from the 7th – 9th October 2011 – where we will be offering 11 ales as well as our 5 ales on the bar.  Along with a range of fantastic homemade pies to offer a perfect accompaniment to the ales.

Our Wines

Wine is one of passions and we work hard with our wine supplier to bring a comprehensive range of wines that will compliment nicely with our current menu, offer something different to that which everyone else has, but ensure have a range of wines that meet all price points, so whether you want just a cheeky Pinot Grigio with dinner on Tuesday night or a bottle of an extra special Chateauneuf Du Pape on Saturday night – we have some great wines.  Some of our wines have also earned awards in their own rights too.
